How it works
How the app works
Three things, and that's the whole app. No followers to grow, no feed to scroll to the end of, nothing to keep a streak alive.
Start a circle
Invite the handful of people you actually want in your life — close friends, family, one group, a few groups. Nobody joins without an invite, and there is no way to find you if you didn't ask them in.
Share the ordinary
A photo, a voice note, a line about your day. It goes to the people you picked and nowhere else. No likes to count, no comment section to manage, no reason to make your life look better than it is.
Circa learns the rhythm
Every friendship has its own natural pace — some people you see weekly, some twice a year. Circa learns yours and offers a nudge when catching up is genuinely due. Replies and likes don't count; only actually seeing someone does.
A nudge is never a debt
Most apps that promise to keep you close do it by making you feel behind — a streak you'll break, a counter of how long you've neglected someone, a number to get back up. Circa has a rule against it.
When the timing is right, it offers you a plain suggestion to call or make a plan. When the timing isn't right, it says nothing at all.
There is no streak to lose, no count of days aimed at you, and no version of this app where you open it and feel like a bad friend.
